2016 GENERAL INFORMATION



All sites based on one family of four, (2 adults, 2 children), full hook-up.

Reservations



Advance reservations are suggested. A reservation guarantees a site, but not a specific site. Of course we will do our best to accommodate site requests when possible. We require full payment at time of reservation to reserve a site or rental unit. Festival weekends require full payment at time reservation is made, and all tickets purchased are non-refundable. No reservations will be held without full payment.  Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out time is 11:00 AM.

Cancellation Policy

Holiday and Festival Cancellations:
Festival cancellations require at least a 30 day notice to receive any refund. This includes The April BBQ Competition,  Spring Bluegrass Festival, The Fall Bluegrass Festival, Memorial Day Week, Independence Day Week & Labor Day Week. All guests eligible for a refund will receive a full refund less a $10 administrative fee for festival/holiday campsites and rental properties. Tickets are non refundable.  

Non Holiday and Festival Cancellations:

All other cancellations require a 14-day notice prior to the reserved date of arrival. All cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the arrival date will receive a refund less a $10 administrative fee. All cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the arrival date will result in forfeiture of one nights rental rates plus a $10 administrative fee.

Additional Charges



Boat launch is (non-campers) $8.00, fishing from the bank or pier is $5.00/person.  Boat Storage $15.00 per week, $50.00 per month. RV left on site (not hooked up) $5.00 per day and $100.00 per month. Sewage Dumping Service (non-campers) $15.00. Golf Cart Fees for anyone without a season pass to Rockahock are $37.50/month with proof of insurance, $25.00/ 3 night stay with out proof of insurance, $20.00/ 3 night stay with proof of insurance, $14.00/night without proof of insurance or $12.50/night with proof of insurance. 

Golf Carts 



Anyone operating a golf cart must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license or with an adult 18 years or older. The adult will assume full responsibility for the minor and any damages they may incur.  Any one without a season pass must pay a daily fee to bring a golf cart on to the Rockahock Property. The fees are in the paragraph above. Other restrictions apply.  We no longer rent out golf carts.

Pets



Campsite guests are welcome to bring pets, (*Pets are not permitted in rental units) but please clean up after and keep under control. Virginia’s leash laws are enforced on the property for all dogs. The following dogs are not permitted on the grounds: Rottweiler, Pitt-bull and Doberman.

Guests and Visitors



All guest, additional family members and friends are requested to register at the guardhouse or office upon arrival. A visitor is anyone who is not registered with the original party. All fees are payable upon registration. We allow a maximum of eight persons and two vehicles per campsite including visitors. We reserve the right to limit the number of persons occupying and / or visiting a site. The visitor fee is $5.00 per person (12 years and older) per day.
