2009-2010 GENERAL INFORMATION
All sites based on one family of four, (2 adults, 2 children), full hook-up.
Reservations
Advance reservations are suggested. A reservation guarantees a site, but not a specific site. Of course we will do our best to accommodate site requests when possible. We require a deposit equal to one night’s camping to reserve a site or rental unit, except festival weekends. Festival weekends require full payment 14 days before your arrival date and all tickets purchased are non-refundable. No reservations will be held without a deposit.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations require a 14-day notice prior to the reserved date of arrival. All cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the arrival date will receive a refund less a $10 administrative fee. All cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the arrival date will result in forfeiture of deposit.
Additional Charges
Boat Launch or parking (non-campers) $5.00, Boat Storage $15.00 per week, $50.00 per month. RV left on site (not hooked up) $5.00 per day. Sewage Dumping Service (non-campers) $15.00.
Golf Carts
A limited number of Golf Cart Rentals are available on a first- come, first- serve basis for $49.00 per 24 hours or $79.00 per 72 hours. Golf carts can only be rented to licensed adult drivers, 18 years of age or older. Anyone operating a golf cart must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license or a Rockahockian driver’s permit. Other restrictions apply.
Pets
Campsite guests are welcome to bring pets, but please clean up after and keep under control. Virginia’s leash laws are enforced on the property for all dogs. The following dogs are not permitted on the grounds: Rottweiler, Pitt-bull, Doberman and German Sheppard. Pets are not permitted in rental units!
Guests and Visitors
All guest, additional family members and friends are requested to register at the guardhouse or office upon arrival. A visitor is anyone who is not registered with the original party. All fees are payable upon registration. We allow a maximum of eight persons and two vehicles per campsite including visitors. We reserve the right to limit the number of persons occupying and / or visiting a site. The visitor fee is $5.00 per person (12 years and older) per day.
